The far-right blog RedState has begun attacking mainstream Republican bloggers, including RMC ally blog Republicans United.

Chicago Tribune (Chicago, IL)

The Chicago Tribune is asking the Democratic and Republican U.S. Senate candidates a series of issue questions in advance of the Feb. 2 primaries for the seat once held by President Barack Obama. In this first installment, the candidates were asked five questions about Illinois issues, including real Republican Mark Kirk.

Boston Globe (Boston, MA)

In the final weekend before tomorrow’s vote, the four Democrats, and the two GOP contenders for MA’s open US Senate seat, fanned out across the state to rally supporters – and try to attract new ones.

Wall Street Journal (USA)

In nominating his girlfriend for the job of U.S. attorney, Montana Sen. Max Baucus (D) didn’t disclose the relationship to the White House, Montana’s other senator or a local attorney tapped to review potential candidates, several people involved in the process said Sunday.
